If specified, computer will be shut down and powered off after successfull backup. If there is an error in backup, or backup is cancelled, computer will not be shut down. Poweroff only works if supported by your computer hardware and the Operating system. Also, the shutdown can only complete, if no running application prevents it. For example, if your text-processor program has a file open and modified, it will popup a dialog and shutdown will not complete automatically.
