Usually the first action is to load log from server, after restore program is started. Log contains informations, when the backups were made, and where the files are stored on server. Log is the sign post for restore program, to load file lists and restore files. Log is stored on server under macroname.STL. Macroname is the name of macro, which contains backup plan.
The dialog has fields where Servername, Username on server and Log directory can be entered. The defaults for these fields come from macro. It is possible to load log created by another PC, if the necessary access rights are granted on server.
Access to server works with or without password. The selection is made with check box Access with password.
After clicking on OK, log is loaded from server. A loaded log will be replaced by newly loaded log.
Log for currently loaded macro can be loaded with toolbar key , bypassing the dialog.
