Information is grouped and displayed in several sub-windows. There are display windows about restore progress, restore parameters, selected files and directories, log, messages etc. The display windows are only visible if the necessary information is available. For example, if log is not loaded from server, log-window will not be shown. Display windows can also be shown as icons. Double click on an icon activates the corresponding window.
Small errors, after which restore can still continue, are listed in display window Messages. A message appears, for example, if a checksum error is detected in a backed up file. Messages about mounting of tapes or removable disks are listed in display window Messages from server. The messages-windows are created, as soon as the first message arrives.
In status bar at lower end of program-window, currently running operation is described, e.g. "Restore is running". If a menu command is selected without being activated (while mouse button is not released), a short description of the command is shown in status bar.
